The Metabolic Syndrome Program
Metabolic syndrome is an extremely common pattern of poor weight regulation nowadays. While the main sign of the syndrome is central obesity (or weight gain primarily around one’s waist and trunk), other signs include high blood pressure, low good cholesterol (HDL), poor blood sugar control (impaired fasting glucose & insulin resistance), or pre-diabetes, and poly-cystic ovarian syndrome (in women).
