In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the new reality we are all adapting to, community medicine has quickly adapted to embracing telemedicine and virtual care. White Rock Naturopathic & Dr. Grodski have been providing integrative family medicine for local Fraser Valley residents and families since 2008. And while we do have patients who travel long distances, cross continent and overseas, distance has prevented many individuals from receiving our care. And so, we are excited to be able to now offer telemedicine and virtual care to all canadians regardless of distance. While phone consults have always been available, what we are most excited about is our new patient portal – brought to you by our Practice Better platform, that allows for secure, compliant video, webinar and unsurpassed patient-doctor communication abilities. We’re now able to share a confidential space online, that allows for sharing of treatment recommendations, helpful videos, articles, progress reports, questionnaires, as well as direct access to our professional line of supplements and natural medicines.

And while there are limitations to virtual care, including the obvious need for in-person visits to have physical exams performed when needed, as well as labwork, or in person treatments and therapies, the benefits of accessible, trusted, experienced integrative naturopathic family medicine is undeniable.
